Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Hollywood Engineering Inc.. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, including any additional terms and policies referenced herein.

2. Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. A breach of any of the Terms will result in immediate termination of your access to the Service.

3. Products and Pricing

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product at any time. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We have made every effort to display product colors and specifications accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your display renders colors accurately. We reserve the right to limit quantities and to refuse any order.

4. Product Use and Security Disclaimer

OTTOLOCK cinch locks are designed as lightweight, quick-stop theft deterrents. No lock is impervious to a determined thief with adequate tools, technique, and time. A cinch lock is not a replacement for a U-Lock. You acknowledge that our products provide a level of deterrence appropriate to short-duration stops and agree to use them in accordance with our published Use Guidelines. 

5. Returns, Warranty, and Shipping

Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, Limited Warranty, and Shipping Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review those policies for return windows, warranty coverage, the Theft Replacement Program, and delivery details.

6. Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and the OTTOLOCK® trademark — is the property of OTTO DESIGN IP LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

Certain content and products available via our Service may include materials from third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party materials and do not warrant them.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court. You and Hollywood Engineering Inc. each agree that any arbitration shall be conducted in our respective individual capacities only, and not as a class action or other representative action, and both parties expressly waive their right to file a class action or seek relief on a class basis.
